Now We're A Team!

And, now, we have to move.

Look everybody, I know we've made our best attempt here to give you some highlights of my life in the past almost two years. But, with a little brother to take care of, it's time for a new start.

For maybe now and again we'll come back here to give you some new stories. But, it's easier for me and Cameron and Dad and Mom to consolidate the effort.

So go ahead and add "The Legendary Adventures of Lucas & Cameron..." to your favorites listing.

I've loved your attention and hope you'll give this new effort a shot!

Love,

Lucas

Chunky Man Mid-Day Update...

Well - four and one half hours into it and the lil' sumo wrestler is eating well and sleeping just as he should.

Big yawn...

Footprints on the calendar...

Sleepy and calm... This chunky little man has been a bit more content than we remember his big brother being. But, it has only been a few hours.

Daddy's got the tripod set up....

Cameron Is Here!

Howdy Friends!

My baby brother is here! Cameron David Trimmer!

He was borned at 7:00 a.m. (just when Sesame Street is coming on).

He weighs 9 lbs, 8.5 oz and is 22 in. long! That's big for a baby.

Mom is doing real good. And Cameron doesn't cry unless he is disturbed.

Mom and Dad say that love grows - so this is gonna be alright with me...temporarily anyway.

I haven't met him yet - but Dad will post s'more pictures for you.

Happy Day!

Dad is a LIAR! A big, fat LIAR!

Hello Folks, Friends and the NSA!

My dad is full of promises, isn't he? He promised me that I could drive his car. Has it happened? No. He promised that he would stop with the crazy left-wing antics. Has he done it? No. He promised me that Barack Obama would be the President. Has he delivered? Not yet, he says. But, he's sure you're gonna help me make sure that happens. We'll see my friends.

And, has he "kept us up to date"? Nope.

That makes Dad a liar. Soda and cheeseburgers make him a fat liar.

Oh, for sure, dad has been busy. He's taken some more active roles in the local Labor movement. Mom let him run for the President post for the local labor council and he won (he was unopposed, but he tends to forget that fact when he tells people about it). It makes him busy and I think it helps his weak ego.

Who cares about him. How about me, you ask.

Well, in the next couple of weeks, I am proud to report that I'm gonna be a BIG BROTHER! Yep. My little baby brother Cameron is on his way. "Just about fully cooked," Dad says.

Mom and Dad got a fancy picture of him inside my Mom's tummy. I think he is cute....for a dumb baby.

I'm mighty excited. I've practiced poking the eyes of little, dumb babies that come my way. They don't like it, for sure. I have a sneaking suspicion that this will mean that Cameron and I will compete for blogging space. If we merge blogs, it wont be a big deal, as mine seems to not get updated anyway.

You should know, I've worked hard to ensure that Mom and Dad know that I'm gonna be two whole years old in July. I've found that throwing temper tantrums gets them so worked up that they take more notice in me.

Daycare is a blast. I have good friends and great teachers.

We haven't done much travelling or stuff in the past several months. And, that's not so much fun. But, I am looking forward to Dad cleaning out the garage so I can get to my outside toys (trying to use a plastic sled in the Spring is difficult).

I'm growing like a weed too. I have had a few haircuts since we last met. And, I have moved bedrooms. I have a "big boy" bedroom with a little boy bed (the kind that looks like a prison cell). Unlike all of my other friends, I have yet to figure out that I can climb out of my bed. I'm waiting for Cameron to come along, so I can create that confusion on my parents.

Oh goodness, what more can I say?

I got some new outside playthings that are especially for me! Goo Castle is an awesome playhouse with a climbing wall, a ladder and a slide! And, last Christmas, Gramma Vickie and Grampa Brian got me this great Buckey Fuller geodesic jungle gym. I like to call it my "Dymaxium Awesomething." Every kid in the neighborhood loves it.

Our neighbors, Glen and Paula, are moving. So, Dad hasn't mowed the lawn in weeks. And, he's putting up plastic pink flamingos in the yard because, he says, "I want to mess with new neighbors."

I still poop in my pants.

Mom is still going to work. At least until Cameron comes to stay. Then, she'll be at home for a few months. She still loves working where she does, but is looking for some time off.

Dad says that The Wiggles are, "the most irritating, closeted British men on the face of the Earth." Whatever. I love to dance and they do too.

Thanks to all of you for your inquiries. I'll apologize for my Dad. He says he is sorry. But, I don't think there is any excuse for not keeping you all in the loop. Bad Daddy!

Dad's Promised to Catch Us Up....

Hey friends! I have, for many, many months, kept a journal for my dad to post to you all. I mean, I have seen all of your complaints and concerns and he hasn't done anything about it!

Right now, dad's in Denver for work. He's been there since February 24th and I have been pretty frustrated about it. In revolt, I've been biting kids at school. So far, I have been sent home from school twice - last Thursday and then at noon today.

Mom told me that she has told my dad, but I think he's gonna see me and not even care. Mom says he'll be home when I wake up on Saturday morning! I sure can't wait. I'm gonna bite his face 'cause I'm pretty mad at him right now.

So, enough about my absent father. You're all probably trying to catch up with me since October 2007!

As you know, Florida was terrific fun. But, so was Halloween and Thanksgivin' and Christmas! Here's the rub, though... When dad promised to post some of my journal, he left a buncha pictures at home. So, you're limited right now.

But, one night when we went to Nashville to see my Gramma, Papa Joe, my aunts and uncles and cousins... anyways, one night, mom and dad went out to a show that my Aunt Jenny was in and I spent the night with Aunt Jessica, Uncle Drew, Grant and Madison. They have a cat named Chloe too.

We ate a fantastic dinner of macaroni and cheese!

And, Grant and Madison played blocks with me! It was totally awesome!

The key to setting blocks and Legos is being careful and precise (Grant teached me that).

Then, I took a bath. I really like to take baths, but when the water gets chilly, I get kind of nervous....

Then, Uncle Drew put me to sleep.

I got more adventures. So, let's hope my dad gets off his lazy duff and updates you. Bye for now my little friends.

Little Fishies....

Yo, yo, yo... Have you ever met a seal? How 'bout a dolphin? Or a stingray...a shark, a seal, a horse, a doggie or kitty cat? Well friends, I did today!

We packed up the rental van and took off for Sea World!

What a world those Busch people have created! While we waited in line in the blazing sun, I heard Dad grumble, "I can't believe we're giving these Nazis a bunch of our money to see caged animals." Mom told me he would be a 'cranky britches' all day long.

Well, with Gramma Vickie (she told Dad she prefers graMMa, not graNDma) and Grampa Brian, and Mom and Dad, I was sure to have a carrier, a stroller pusher, a walkaround-wither, a feeder and an entertainer at all times.

Grampa Brian did the majority of the caretaking today. He is awesome! We got to look at the slippr'y, slimey and super-cool stingrays!

About five minutes into our $70/per person adventure, we decided to take off and look over at those pesky penguins. These creatures are just like other birds...but they don't fly, they swim! Oh man, they are the coolest creatures ever! Just like that kid that I read about in the news, I tried soo hard to get one of these in my backpack, but Dad...grumpy old dad.....said, "Goo, we have a Chicken at home - she's the best cat ever and she would eat that penguin." I put it back.

I'm Vacationing...I've Met Bugs

Howdy viewers. It's me The Goo and I know I've taken the past months off, but I'm down here in Florida with Grandma and Grampa Brian and Mom and Dad. We're at a place called Liki Tiki and we're trying to have a good time.

I went on my first plane ride...actually, my first two plane rides. I did pretty well all things considered. Let me tell you, take off and landing are pretty funny, the speed when you take off makes your tummy feel silly.

We sure packed a lot of stuff...

Mom discounted the trip 'cause she said we are sooooo poor, 'cause Dad, "told his boss off" and I guess he's not working much anymore. Seems that malt liquor's taken it's toll on Dad. We left Bloomington Saturday morning. Then we waited just a few minutes in Atlanta before we got on a really big plane.

And an hour later... We were in Orlando! Whoo Hoo!!!!!

We spent about an hour and a half driving from the airport to the resort. Grampa Brian sure does know how to stretch out his, "only about 20 minutes from the airport" story. He wasn't the navigator he claims.......Gramma has her MD, but not her Geography degree. Go figure.

So, we arrived at the Liki Tiki Village about 6:00 last night. And, though it took a while to get into our room, boy were we happy to unload our bags and relax from a long day of travel.........

What a place! It has a kitchen, a couple of bathrooms....real high dollar.

Holy moley! Look what Mom and Grampa Brian found in the bathroom upstairs!

Bugs. The bugs are everywhere. They are not just on the surface of things, they're under to covers, in the sheets and in every nook you can imagine.

But, nevertheless, swimmin in that great pool and eatin over at "Shipwreck Sallys'" is pretty good livin for a little Goo like me.

More updates to come, my friends, so keep watching - we've got a few more days here in insect paradise!

Tuckered Out... But Dad Captured Some Final Excitement...

A couple of people walked up to this with their kids and said, "Lets get a picture of you guys with Paul Bunyon!" Dad promptly directed them to the Republican tent and advised them to sign the Illinois Family Institute's petition to ensure that marriage is kept between a man and a woman.
