I'm Vacationing...I've Met Bugs

Howdy viewers. It's me The Goo and I know I've taken the past months off, but I'm down here in Florida with Grandma and Grampa Brian and Mom and Dad. We're at a place called Liki Tiki and we're trying to have a good time.

I went on my first plane ride...actually, my first two plane rides. I did pretty well all things considered. Let me tell you, take off and landing are pretty funny, the speed when you take off makes your tummy feel silly.

We sure packed a lot of stuff...


Mom discounted the trip 'cause she said we are sooooo poor, 'cause Dad, "told his boss off" and I guess he's not working much anymore. Seems that malt liquor's taken it's toll on Dad. We left Bloomington Saturday morning. Then we waited just a few minutes in Atlanta before we got on a really big plane.

And an hour later... We were in Orlando! Whoo Hoo!!!!!

We spent about an hour and a half driving from the airport to the resort. Grampa Brian sure does know how to stretch out his, "only about 20 minutes from the airport" story. He wasn't the navigator he claims.......Gramma has her MD, but not her Geography degree. Go figure.

So, we arrived at the Liki Tiki Village about 6:00 last night. And, though it took a while to get into our room, boy were we happy to unload our bags and relax from a long day of travel.........

What a place! It has a kitchen, a couple of bathrooms....real high dollar.

Holy moley! Look what Mom and Grampa Brian found in the bathroom upstairs!


Bugs. The bugs are everywhere. They are not just on the surface of things, they're under to covers, in the sheets and in every nook you can imagine.

But, nevertheless, swimmin in that great pool and eatin over at "Shipwreck Sallys'" is pretty good livin for a little Goo like me.
