I'm Pretty Sure That I'm Like His Best Friend Now...
Who'd a ever thought it!? Ol' Chris Kringle likes cookies AND 15-year-old single malt scotch!
What a day, friends...what a day!
As I told you in the last post, I had an appointment with the bearded saint this afternoon.
What's that?..........
Are you kidding?!...........
Yeah I was nervous!
Anyway, mom gave him the cookies and said, "You know Lucas, right?" Oh mah gosh! He did! He did know me! He knew where I lived and that I have a cat named Chicken and that my Dad spends Friday nights down at the basement bar at Sebastian's.
And I was like, "You know my Dad?!" And he said, "Well, I've seen some folks pick him up off the floor now and again."
So, anyway, I gave him the flask that my dad slipped in my pocket.
Put it this way, I think it's gonna be a fairly lucrative year for the ole' Lucas here...
It was great. Santa is really great! I'll take Santa Claus over Barack Obama any day!

This is a picture of me and my friend Santa Claus. He is so awesome. What an awesome, awesome day.
One criticizm though... Santa could use an Altoid, so feel free to leave a few out with your Christmas Eve Cookies and Scotch.
Have you got a story about meeting Santa Claus? Perhaps you want me to put in a good word for you? Let me know what wishes or stories you have about the old man, I'd love to hear from you.

Wow! Your responses are overwhelming! Thanks to all of you for taking the time to spread some Christmas cheer....really thoughtful to all of you who responded. And, if you're counting, so far NOT ONE PERSON HAS LEFT A COMMENT ABOUT CHRISTMAS OR SANTA CLAUS!!!
How do you think that makes Lucas fee?

Wow, Lucas, you are so cool! My mom and dad haven't taken me to see Santa Claus yet, even though they're calling me Santa's Little Helper! Check out my blog at FunWithElla.blogspot.com and you'll see. It's just not fair. I hope I get to go see him soon...
Love,
Ella

Amazing Lucas,
Merry Christmas to you, your Mom & Dad, and Chicken the wonder cat, too (its the season for peace, even with kitty cats)!

I am not sure how Lucas will Fee? I have a story about santa....once when I was at Band Camp. Sorry, wrong story.
Lucas, my parents weren't hip and cool enough to give Santa Scotch (they drank it all themselves) so I ended up getting lots of coal in my stocking. But it came in handy when the ice storm hit and we had no power.
Merry X-mas and a Happy new year.

I have it on good authority that Santa plans to leave things for Lucas at Grandmother's house in Nashville. Grandma and Grandpa are looking forward to seeing Lucas a day or so after Christmas.
That Jolly Old St. Nick does get around, doesn't he?
