So Much To Do... And So Worn Out.

Hey all. Toby here. So sorry for the lack of posts. Lucas is growing so much funner and stuff every day. But, Mandy and I have found ourselves preoccupied with life. However, I do love to help Lucas form his posts and we do have a new pocket camera to capture all of the 'precious moments'.....in fact, Mandy just started her own website to buy, sell and trade her Precious Moments art (hobbies do often become obessions).

Anyway, my apologies for you having to wait so long. More to come, but at 20 till 12:00 on Monday, and with a full day Tuesday - meetings at night, Wednesday - meetings at night, Thursday - dinner with the new President of the Union, I'll be lucky to see Mandy and the Goo, let alone get the chance to help Lucas write.

I will make the time, I promise - there's two solid months of things to post for you (and you can see the difference in the pictures).

I know you've been patiently waiting. I'll get my reports in as soon as possible.

Couple of things of note....

First, the picture is from July 4th. The Goo woke up that day after his a.m. nap. He was pretty regular for the first minute or so, then he threw up all over me. Not 'spit up' mind you. Throw-up. Vomit. Belly yuck. And he proceeded this throughout the day.

He was miserable. But, between the heaves (which make you feel horrible and, incredibly, make you wish it was you instead of your little Goo) he was so snuggly. He just wanted to snuggle and be protected. And, that day, he favored me a little more than his mom. Though we traded. He just watched T.V. with us. He didn't sleep much, he just laid around and looked like the picture. We watched "Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla." At the end, you find out that one of the asian chicks has some sort of mind-reading power and she forces one of the pilots to imagine a baby Godzilla. Then, Godzilla gets the respect he/she deserves.

Also of note, our very best congratulations to Jim and Jenni Rogal. They're having a baby! Papers just came in today. They rushed off to St. Louis and got their picture of their beautiful little boy. So, it's off to Ethiopia in not so very long. I need to update links on Lucas' World's new look, so I will add theirs. We love you guys and can't wait for the Goo's new best friend to get settled here in the town that came in second for the Simpon's movie.
